I'd probably buy a C6 Vette and with the change left over buy a nice house with attached garage to park the Vette in..
Poetess go buy the Benz You only live once and you are running out of time, certainly you dont want to get into your later years always wishing you'd bought that Benz..
You only live once, go out and buy what you like.
And jambo- the C6's are just wonderful vehicles to drive, you could probably pick up an '05 Coupe for around $25K if you're willing to be stuck with the 4 speed auto tranny. Go for it.
This is probably the only Audi I would spend money on.
Eh, it's all preference, but I've had a lot of exposure to all three of the German luxury marques and would probably choose Audi out of all of them. I think it all comes down to what you personally want and the feel you are looking for.
I really don't like the look of the R8. I'll gladly take a TT-RS though. It's a shame they don't offer it here with the DCT, which is ironic in a way considering Americans' general preference for automatics. I wonder what the rationale is behind that decision.

R8 is great looking as a convertible. I think the coupe with those carbon fiber blades on the sides is hideous! The fact they cost thousands extra not to match the car is simply stupid.

Yeah, I'm pretty much over the "carbon fiber as a decorative element" thing. Even if they were body-colored though, I still don't know that I'd like the looks of the R8. Never have. I can see how it might appeal to someone who wants a "different-looking" supercar, kinda like I can see how someone looking for something different in a mini-crossover would dig a Nissan Juke. To me, the R8 is the Nissan Juke of supercars.

Out of my price range, but the Benz might be in the op's price range as he's not saying he cant afford it but asking should he buy it or not.....Go read that original post a little closer

I love, love, love, the TT-RS. Fantastic car and a good value as well. I've always liked the TT's and that one is the best of the bunch.

I don't know why, but I've always liked the R8 since the first time I saw it. I generally find most Lambo's too overdone, so I'm not sure exactly why the R8 appeals to me so much.

Haha! First off, I'm a woman. Second, no I'm not asking whether I should buy it or not. I was sharing my thought on the car, and asking what other people thought of it. Plus that's kinda like a weekend car. Not practical for everyday use imo.
My first car was a '03 325i...and although I do also think highly of BMW, I didn't really like it, my ultimate dream was to own a Benz. Hubby drives a '95 E320 and is tryna convince me to buy '95 S Class.
I don't know, I like it.
