I don't go to car washes often, maybe once or twice a year as I usually go the do-it-yourself route. Anyways, last time I got a full service with interior/exterior dressing and gave them a tip and they acted awkwardly like they don't normally get tips. So this time I did not prepare a tip and the guy looked at me like he was waiting for something as he gave me the keys and gave me major attitude as he marked the reciept and gave it back... So do you guys tip and how much if you do?
Depends if it's a hand wash, or simply a "pull thru" type.....if they do nothing but start up the washer, then no tip. If they do the bumpers/wheels, etc...before the wash starts, then I'll tip them $1-2, depending on how much the wash costs. If it's a "hand wash" place, with interior cleaning and drying, then $5 or so, depending on the job they do!
How does it work when there's more than one person? Today there were three different guys working on my car and only one signaled me over and the others disappeared. Do they share tips or is it up to me to track them and tip accordingly?
I go to one that is owned by the employees like a co-op. No tipping signs. If we had covered parking then I'd do all my own washing and detailing. No paved parking either. Last time I tried to wash my car at home I needed mud boots. Most times I do the coin operated wash.

I'd imagine they split 'em.
