Yup, now that Obama's decision to loan money to GM & Chrysler has been proven to have been a good decision, I wonder how many votes Romney will actually get in Michigan, Ohio, and other car-building states when his "let them go bankrupt" statements come back to haunt him.

Many see the money given to the big 3 as handouts when they were in fact loans that have just about been paid back, brilliant foresight and probably saved millions of auto and related jobs..

Had a '06 Charger. Test drove a current gen Charger, and like others have said, it's a huge improvement. As far as features, drive-train efficiency, they are still a little late IMO. They should've got rid of the 5 speed a long time ago.

The V-6 models are available with an 8-speed automatic transmission, and the V-8 models will be about a year from now.

It's a bit hard to replace old mechanical bits when a company is starved of investment the way Chrysler was under Daimler and Cerberus.

Yea I know. Would be cool if they got rid of the 3.5 for a smaller turbocharged engine.

The 3.5 is already gone, replaced by the 3.6 Pentastar in 2011.

I think Chrysler / Dodge makes the BEST minivans, and their latest 3.6L Pentastar engine is a dream. Their minivan also looks better and has better features than their competitors. Like the Honda Odyssey looks ugly now.

But Dodge would be stupid to kill their minivan... I heard the rumor.
