Looks similar. Mine was a coupe and Blue. It was a pretty color, so it had two things going for it, pretty color and nice big sunroof (that leaked).

I bet you wished that yours woudl have caught on fire.

lol! Yes, a good fire would have put the thing out of my misery! At the time I really didn't know better because the only other car I'd owned was an '81 Chevette, so I thought repairs were supposed to be a monthly expense with cars.

Never had a bad one. Always selected high performance USA V8s with rwd. All manual transmission save one with an automatic transmission. Go high performance and you will never be disappointed unless the vehicle is genuinely a QC failure. Plus side is there is always a buyer come resell time.

1973 Ford Gran Torino, with lovely plastic seats and no air conditioning, because, as my mom said, "We're from Chicago. (we'd moved to Virginia.) We don't need no sissy air conditioning." Fast forward to a family trip to Arkansas in July where we literally poured the peanut butter out of the jar it was so hot. Four kids under the age of 11 stuck to the seats....ah, good times.

1999 Ford Explorer, the kind of vehicle that made me dislike Ford for ever putting such crap on the road. I was a Ford fan. I know what your thinking: You can't cast off a brand over one vehicle. My answer: Yes I can.

I'm not a Honda fan, but the mid-90's Accords were probably the best one's they ever made. The Accord and Camry both seemed to reach their pinnacle around that time. What were the issues with your Accord?

Tough call but I had two terrible Mercedes Benzes....

03 E500- 37 days in the shop in the first 12 months.
07 GL 320- 2 tow truck rides off the side of the road in the first 24 days(both times car had 4 occupants, not too many tow trucks seat 4 + the driver!)

Bought both vehicles new, both were bought back by Mercedes.

Without a doubt it was my 1990 Plymouth Acclaim LX I bought new in August 1990. By September 1990 it had been in the shop twice, and the misery continued for six years, when I finally unloaded it. The Plymoiuth Acclaim was in the shop more in it's first three months than my 1993 Nissan pickup has to this day.

I never had a good Detroit car, but the Acclaim was by far the worst.
