A '67 Camaro?
Good choice. For a Camaro, I would pick a '69 with a 396 big block engine.

My 327 blew the doors off 396's. I do like 67's thru 70 or 71' . I did have a great Chevy mechanic/machinist. The only other stock car to beat me was a 440 Charger and a 454 vette. Believe me I raced many, many cars.

396 Camaros are easily capable of 14-second 1/4 miles. I don't think the 327s were quite as fast as that (stock).
Here is one reason I like the '69 396 Camaro: With a 4-speed manual transmission and 4.88 gears, a test Camaro ran an excellent 13.00 @ 108.62 mph 1/4 mile in the Supercars Annual '69 magazine. 0-60 in 4.9 seconds (on 1960s tires, too).

I'd want to go with a Vette or Auburn, but to be a little more practical, 1959 Eldorado Biarritz.

Since the OP was talking about brands....tough one. Based on what they are producing right now today, I'd have to with Audi.

Well, they stopped making the XLR-V.
That was a great car on many levels. It wasn't perfect. There are things I'd change. But if it's one car till I die, it hits enough of the points.
