Not my thing. I like brighter wheels. With exception of tinted windows, which are pretty much mandatory in my book, I can do without the whole dark, sinister look of black wheels, smoked lenses, etc. But, whatever people like; it's their car.
ive seen some that i liked and some that i havent liked. someone posted their car here not too long ago and it had black wheels. i didnt like it, i didnt say it though.

I like black wheels on most cars/trucks. I don't like paint-matched ones (unless of course the car is black too) I like the matte black and flat black looks too.
I'm not a huge fan of the total blackout look; black car, black tint, black rims, etc. However black rims, on some cars, like Swimmom's son's Mustang in that red/orange color, it can look really nice, better then chrome.
If going for the blackout look, I much prefer gunmetal rims to at least set it off a little, or the black/gunmetal with chrome outer rings or colored accents.
I agree with blackout for the life of me I cant understand why these kids do this? and we have seen them on Mercedes or BMW's im sorry but quite ugly..
yeah, i think so. i think its because i dont like how it looks with the red car. i think ive seen black/gray and white cars where i liked it more. its all personal preference.
The new trend going around is Plasti-dipping wheels. Its cheap, its easy, if you dont like it, it peals right off, and its easy to touch up. The last car I had black wheels on was my Integra, and they wernt really black, they were gun-metal

That plasti-dip stuff seems pretty amazing. I have seen entire cars with that stuff on it.
I do not like black rims on any car or truck because they remind me of cars with no hubcaps. Give me polished metal or chrome any day. To each his own.
