Yes I know, it was brought up and addressed earlier in the thread. Thanks for reading the whole thing before posting But I think the choices are down to Mustang, MK3 Supra or Miata

You can even find early 90's LT1 Corvettes fairly cheap these days.

Bang for the buck, I'd go with a Miata. If it ever bores you, drop in a V8 and you've got a rocket that will make people scratch their heads. The good thing is that they are a dime-a-dozen and don't have all the bells and whistles that will eventually break.

Well on a personal note I would go with A Mustang GT since the fox body and 3rd and early 4th gen Camaro's are part of my youth and hold sentimental value to me and remind me of the good old days in high school.
I mean for a daily driver I would go for a SN-95 version since they would make a more comfortable daily driver due them being a bit more refined but if you can find a nice well kept 87-93 fox body 5.0 LX (never liked the GT for some reason) it would be a blast also (But finding a nice not too beat up or heavily modded 87-93 Fox is pretty hard these days).
Plus don't forget a 351 Windsor will pop right in both the Fox body Mustang and the 94-96 5.0 SN-95 Mustangs
Well sounds like you got you list down to three so now comes the fun part of seeing what is out there and what car suits your needs the best and what type of deal you can get on one..

What is your definition of "fun". For some (myself included) its a car that handles well, others like to mash the gas and go.
I've had several 240s, and between getting a good deal on the car, sticking a few hundred into suspension, wheels/tires, the car was reallly, really fun to take turns in. It was by far the cheapest and most fun car I've ever owned, and pretty bulletproof. I just got rid of it as I needed an "adult" daily driver with AC. I agree many are overpriced, but if you shop around, you'll find someone that doesn't know about the demand for these cars and will sell it for cheap.
I've always considered a miata as well. Integras are a lot of fun as well, but I got rid of mine due to theft issues in my area.
You should also consider a WRX if you are considering FWD. It is within your budget, and they stick to the road like glue. I can take turns so hard they make me light headed, and I also put minimal money into it. If you need more than just great suspension, it doesn't cost much to up the HP in these cars.

WRX are AWD. Ive seen a couple around 10k but those a good bit of miles on them. I mean everything I am looking at is going to have a lot of miles on it. but the WRX came out in 02, they have the same miles as cars from the early 90's. I would love a wrx(expecially a wagon, yes I am weird)

No FWD, and I don't want to have to worry about it getting stolen.

MK3 turbo could be a cool car. Are they in that price range? I dont know how they are stock but have seen some badass ones that had some money thrown in them. (I wish the MKIVs weren't so ridiculously priced lol) Mustang will have the cheapest aftermarket i'd assume considering the plethora of used parts that you can find for them and the drivetrain should be able to hold a reasonable amount of power considering the 87-92s had Forged internals (93s do not). Plus you live here in San Antonio home of murillo, lethal performance etc etc.
