06 made in canada
If you put a K&N Airfilter on & cut off the Muffler, + Add Splitfire plugs!
It will do 15.0 in the quater mile! (it's quiet)
three are.

I have to say that I really like the concept of the Ridgeline. When they where first released I considered getting one and test drove two different trucks. After the second drive I had the dealer put the "truck" up in the air so I could have a look. I was seriously disappointed in what I saw.
I use my truck as a truck meaning it's used to haul items, tow stuff and most often it's used offroad to get me to lakes, cabins etc so I need a "truck" with some clearance and under body protection. The Ridgeline fit the bill fine for my hauling and towing needs but I was really shocked to see the underside. Everything is hung low and nothing it protected by anything more than a couple of plastic panels.
If Honda where to build a truck like the ridgeline on a real frame with some underbody protection i'd buy on in a heat beat. Until then I cant say I care for it.

I lked the Ridgeline ok whe I test drove one some years ago despite the ugly. Why is is uglier than avalanche when it si kinfd of a minature copy? I do not know. However avalanche is a pretty ugly thing too, especially with that stuhpid body armor.
I found it far less comfortable than the Silverado, Avalanche, F-150 or RAM, especially the back seats. I am not looking for plush seats or anyhitng, but I am big (6'1" and 220) and I do not want pain when I get out of my vehicle after a long trip.
I alwys thought that Honda is kind of a prissy looking truck (no offense intended to those who drive these, just my unfounded opinion and personal reaction). A truck should look tough.
However I was surprised the see that it gets only 18/21 MPG. Chevy Silverado is roughly the same with a bigger engine, higher paylod/towing capability and much much more comfortable seating. I do not know wha the new Ram gets. No idea what the current Ford truck gets either. I do not know what Ford trucks offer the new Ecoboost engine, but that may get good mileage. However I do nto buy a truck based on getting 2-3 or even 5 MPG difference. Trucks get bad mileage. A couple miles per gallon is not going to make a difference to me.
What I really like right now is the new Dodge Ram. they are the best lookking trucks out there IMO. They have storage in the footwells for the rear seats as well as storage in the side walls of the bed (like an avalanche). One thing that always bugged me was the lack of storage space in a pick up truck. Unless you wnat to eat up your bed space with a lockable tool box, there is no room for anything. The Dodge ideas are great. Too bad it is a Dodge. they always made chintzy trucks, great ideas, poorly executed. Everything breaks or just falls off. HAve they improved? Not sure, how can we know? Will they be around long enough to honor their?warranty? Who knows that either?
Chevy probably makes the best combination of toughness, fit, comfort etc, but their trucks are just palin boring, except the Avalanche which is Ridgeline ugly, and absurdly expensive.
The new F-150s have some fresh ideas and Ford just really seems to have their act together right now. I suspect that Ford may surpass Chevy in the toughness/reliability reputation area.
I am not sure I will ever find a Truck. I want the ideas of Dodge, The size, toughness and drivetrain of Chevy, the reliability of Toyota and the direction of Ford. I guess I want a Dotoyevyord.

The contractors I worked for in 35 years in my trade (I worked out of a hiring hall; that's LOTS of contractors) bought more Fords than anything else, followed by Chevy. I can't recall working for a contractor that bought Dodges or Japanese trucks.
One outfit that had a huge pressure vessel and pipe fabricating shop used to rebuild all their trucks themselves and run them forever; their trucks were V-8 Chevys with stick shifts.

Well, you only get one or the other. All wheel drive or 4x4. You will know the difference when you look for low range.

When Toyota and Nissan came out with their trucks only a dwarf could drive one. Ultra tiny cabs with no leg room. Leg room increased a inch each model until Japan realized Americans were taller.
Real trucks are not unibody.

It has a 244 hp V6, gets 16 city and 21 highway, has a 1,550 pound payload and can tow 5,000 pounds. It has an 8.6 cubic foot trunk, not including the slideout for the spare tire. The tail gate open two ways and the trunk locks and is integrated into the security system. The truck drives like a large Subaru in that it does not slip on the road. It is not a serious off road vehicle, but I did not need off road. The truck had worked great for my garden business and has not dissapointed me one bit. The ridgeline is made in America just like the big three are.

Glad the ridgeline is working out for you. I need a real truck, I mean bed size wise. A silverado crew cab for example generally has to small of a bed for me. However if the ridgeline meets your needs than I hope it lasts and is a great "truck" to you.

lol I think the Titan is the best looking truck out there. funny how opinion varies I guess.

I read an article on the ridgeline first in popular science and then read an outstanding review of in consumers reports. I was waiting for subaru to come out with a truck that was not a joke like the baja is. We own a forrester and it is a great and safe car, if subaru had come out with a good sized truck and not a mini, it would have been my choice. The ridgeline is the first truck to have a five star crash test rating by the NHSTA and is also an ultra low emission vehicle.

HUH? Funny my whimpy little Ranger performed well under all circumstances. And the day the Ranger died was at a very high speed collision. I was hit at (police estimate) 74 MPH. In the explosion of glass and sheet metal I walked away with a broken wrist and some bruises. cops were shocked. I can never consider a Ranger whimpy under those circumstances and still believe that was the best truck I ever owned. I keep 2 trucks. a 2004 GMC Canyon (replaced the ranger, ok truck but I miss the ranger) and a 1998 Chevy Silverado 2500. I use my smaller truck 90 % of the time and the silverado the other 10%.
