My car now has cracked 194K miles. I feel very confident about its reliability and figure with regular maintenance that it can go 300K+.
I'd like to at least keep my car until 300K+ miles. After that, I'll decide whether to keep or sell. But, at the rate I drive, that likely wouldn't happen for another 5-7 years. So, I've got a while to go with my baby!

The clutch is a bit rough, but it has always been a bit rough for as long as I've owned it and I'm just used to it now.

Clean engine compartment.
Regularly check fluids and change as necessary.
No new brakes needed.
O2 sensor replaced in 2008.
Battery: 18 months old, still fine with the appropriate cold cranking amps.

Passed California smog test with the equivalent of a 99.9% score.
Platinum spark plugs: 15-18 months old. Could use replacing in the next year or 15,000 miles.
Freon "rejuvenated" in StL when moving to SF Bay, still blows A/C like a new car.
Original engine in its entirety still in use (except for replacement O2 sensor).
Tires just balanced and rotated and good for a remaining 30,000 or so miles.
While I do plenty of street driving, a majority of my driving is freeway driving at 45+ MPH. Freeway driving is much easier on a transmission.

Not long with today's plastic and tin cars. plastic is even used internally in some engines and transmissions!
I have a 1974 ford f250 4x4 with a 351 v8 and another entire truck for parts. I'm currently at 470,000 miles on the the same engine! Rebuilt last year with new bearings and rings.
Older is better reliability, and parts will be available forever! Oh, I almost forgot...I get 23mpg on the highway and I'm all good with that.

I've seen late 1990s model Toyotas already crack the 600k mark:
20 years. I'm at 15 now. 1997 Mustang. Unfortunately, my odometer broke years ago so I'll never know the actual mileage.
