with acheiving a pleasant customer service experience. I will not by another
Lexus. My dad and sister in law have them and will not be buying another
in the future again due to customer service that is not what we would expect
from a midrange priced car.
That's too bad. I own a couple of Lexus vehicles as well as a few Toyotas and I've received excellent customer service from my dealerships in both California and Hawai'i. What's year and model of the Lexus that you own? As a general rule, I never buy a vehicle during its first year of production...

The base price of a Benz is rarely where one ends up. Like a Porsche, the bottom line grows very quickly once you start checking off options (and everyone buying a new S-class checks off options). I'm not saying that the LS is the better car, but I don't think price separates these two nearly as much as you seem to indicate.

Cost is not the only factor though (imo) - ride and comfort is the biggest one to me

Great, so save yourself 30 grand and get a conventional LS.

But, this one, with all the horsepower, is also a hybrid -

I hope it is successful
