I drove 133 mph across Kansas in my 2000 Porsche Boxster. I think it could have gone much faster.

I've driven on the German autobahn several times. There is so much traffic on the autobahn it is not wide open all the time as some would expect. I remember back in '88 when I rented a BMW in West Germany and drove across East Germany to West Berlin, the speed limit through that country was about 55 mph.

And I bet you didn't mess around with the speed limit in East Germany...

I had a classmate who used to visit relatives in GDR. The stories he brought back... man oh man.

Probably about 122 mph in my supercharged Mustang, but that was only in the quarter mile. I haven't stretched her legs yet.

I think my top speed was around 115, in a 1989 Acura Integra. I was driving down 280 (between San Francisco & San Jose) around 3am, and decided to see how fast I could go... just when I was reaching that speed, I hit a REALLY thick fog wall & almost ate sh@@. I think God was speaking to me, LOL.
