LOL.....Can't remember when the last time I stepped inside of a gas station! Always pay at the pump. And with ExxonMobil, if you use your scanner, they often give extra discounts.
Pay at the pump when it's available.... but I'm often on motorcycle in the boonies and LOTS of those old pumps don't have the option. But you don't have to worry about the people buyin smokes or lotto tickets there, it's the lonely person behind the counter who wants to chat your ear off. Seriously, but that's all part of the reason I end up in places like that... because I enjoy those experiences

I dont go into the bank though. Bank tellers bug me.
That's funny ~ I *HATE* doing the drive-through for fast food. Bugs me to no end (plus, I don't like eating in my vehicles). No reason to go inside a bank these days. Heck, I haven't had a bank with a brick and mortar building (other than the corp offices) since about 2004.
Pay at the pump. I always use the same one or two gas stations so I know the option is there. I hate buying stuff from convenience stores because I always get behind the cigarette guy too. Ha ha, "no, the ultra light 1000 menthol" exactly. No lotto here so I don't have to deal with that. I'd probably never go inside if that were the case.
My bank has atms that can take deposits so I never go inside any more.
I don't do lines at the drive through for fast food. I'll scan the people standing inside as I drive around and I'm more likely to pull up and run inside then sit in the drive thru line.
Pay at the pump is major step forward in convenience.
Except some pumps cut you off at preset amounts ($50-75-99) and to fill a few of my trucks (31 gallon tanks) it takes more. I often go in, prepay for $110-120 and then pump it outside. I want the trucks full so I can go longer between fill ups!
