My brother's Karmann Ghia. He was teaching me to drive. First time out, he took me to a large parking lot. I was so overwhelmed learning how to operate the vehicle and shift that I nearly hit a light pole.

I have no idea what year the car was made.

We were in the 8th grade & on weekends my friends dad had a Kremlin with a 327 in it. He used to fall asleep on the couch & we would push in out of the driveway & drive it until it was about time to go to school.

A first generation Saturn in driver's ed, but I don't remember the year. I remember that it was automatic and absolutely gutless. Oddly enough, I've had two Saturns myself, but they both had the five-speed manual transmission. The difference in performance between the manual and automatic Saturns was night and day, and to this day I refuse to buy anything with an automatic.
