The spray on fabric /vinyl paint from autozone works well . A little fabric dye on a sponge and lightly wiped over the sun affected area will be less messy but be sure you use a product that will not wipe off on cloths.

I used SEM Interior black on my Cutlass. The interior was Tan and looked like crap.. It took 4 LIGHT coats to fully cover the tan but it looks great and hasn't flaked, faded or come off on my cloths in almost 3 yrs so I'm happy with it.

You'll want to clean the panels with SEM prep cleaner and scrub with a scotch bright to make sure the junk is off them.

Fabric dye can be purchased at many cloth stores . Make sure it is washable and don't apply it too heavy.. Use several applications letting it dry in between the coats. Reason is it is much harder to lighten the cloth than to slowly darken it to match.
