BMW sounds better. The lexus sounds too high pitched.

"Better" and "nicer" are entirely subjective. It's all about preference. I prefer whichever car is on the right. Too lazy to figure out which one it is. I'm betting it's the BMW.

The front end on the new IS is a travesty. They simply ruined that car and I am a big fan of the outgoing IS350 and ISF. Any vehicle that intends to exude power and athleticism should not be saddled with awful misshapen beady little headlights.

I like it. I've seen it i person and it looks much better.. For some reason this car doesn't look great from photos. But in person it is nice, agressive but also elegant at the same time..
