I've noticed that a lot with newer Audis and MBZ's, actually...
Were they in the turn lane? A lot of them will turn off that side when the turn signal is in use.

I've been hunting for something along the lines of a Tahoe or an Expedition/Navigator to park next to the F150. That DRL issue keeps reminding me why I don't deal with GM products. Rather nice to look at, but not much else.
It was a poor choice in bulbs, that is all. It sounds to me like you are an entrenched Ford lover who is looking for any little reason to call a GM product junk.
Perhaps we should play the one HID out Prius game.

It sounds to me like you're in denial about GM quality, since you felt the need to argue a post made over a year ago.
GM electrical systems suck. So does Chrysler. I was always blowing bulbs in my Jeeps, no matter what year they were or what model. And yes, I see a LOT of GM cars with only one DRL working, not as many Fords. I actually can't remember the last time I saw a Ford with a light out, but it seems I see a couple Chevy's daily like that.
Owners of those brands have a stockpile of bulbs to swap in, because a bulb burns out about every 5-6 months.
Haha, I noticed it most on the 99-2006(?) tahoes and suburbans. I used to point this out to friends while we drove....almost like a game! These vehicles were often only a year or two old.
We are not talking about older cars. What I notice on almost a daily basis are those hideous LED beads manufacturers seem to be so fond of. I see them out on a lot on high end new Audis and GM's too.

I don't think the turn signal has anything to do with it. One of the LED bands is out, regardless of whether the signal is on or not.
