Now, that I can agree too, but I've pulled some heavy loads with FWD too.

You mean like the guy who is towing his boat with his Honda Accord? Yeah, he burns rubber on the boat ramp punishing that poor car to death to pull up and out of the water! He is also the guy everyone else hates to see when it is raining!

You need a reality check.

Let's see, F-250 Super Duty 4X4 with a 7.3L Powerstroke or a Honda Accord? I wonder which one is best? ROTFLMFAO...................

I'm a police officer assigned to a Crown Vic. We also have Dodge Chargers.

I prefer the Crown Vic because it has more room for myself, and my customers in the back have more leg room (which means less complaining). The Crown Vic also steers/handles better on turns, and the Charger feels longer which means it is more difficult to maneuver. I do prefer the Charger's power more than the Crown Vic. The car selection pretty much boils down to cost and reliability.... Ford has been doing this for a long time and they give a discount to police departments. The department feels good about buying a car with a proven track record instead of a hot rod sports car (as some of you recommended).

Personally, I wish we had the option to drive SUV's more often.

Around here it seems that they are the only car big enough for the overweight cops to be able to get into and drive.

Ummm... have you ever seen the front of a modern police cruiser? There is barely enough room for skinny people to breathe! All of that room is occupied with equipment, computers and other law enforcement specific features.

And where exactly did I say it wouldn't be?

Are you just trolling for the fun of it?

Not in a single post did I say that FWD were superior towing machines, I even stated that they were inferior, I just mentioned that it was dumb to say it's impossible or doesn't work.

As for your super duty, what do you need moving, a house?

I've pulled 5000 lbs (plus the hanger weight) with a van loaded with another 3500 lbs, worked fine at highway speed (70mph, could've gone faster.)

The car was a Toyota HiAce with a 2.4L TDi ad RWD, did the job perfectly well.
