I like the Focus, much better looking than Accent. Or the Fiesta.

Don't forget to look at the 2014 Mazda 3, it looks better than all of them and since it is new, there is no reliability data. But for the $$, I would buy that over these 2.

Honda Civic or a Hinda Fit. You won't regret. High quality cars.

I just got rid of my 2012 focus. It was terrible and started falling apart. I had to replace all 4 tires, front and rear brakes within 20k miles. No burn outs, or skidding. Downshifted to minimize brake usage. Gas mileage was ok at best. Averaged 36mpg highway 29 city. Don't even get me started on the depreciation.

Hyundai has the 100k waranty and is a much better all around car.

I just traded my 2012 Focus SEL in for a new Edge. I was very satisfied with the Focus but wanted something bigger. The Focus had 18,000 miles and no problems; none, zero. The car drove wonderfully; excellent handling and a smooth responsive engine, fun to drive. The car was very tight, all of a single piece, very solid. Great car.

I have a 2012 Honda Fit Sport. Bought it new June 2012. It's actually a great little car but there are a couple of things I don't like about it.

Maybe on the whole, but I have a 2010 SHO that begs to differ.

That said, even though I am on a total downer about Ford I would say get the Focus. That is the one car they do well IMO.

i had a 2002 focus zx3 , it went 269,000 miles

totally surprised me..

the only complaint i had, was it had wide tires for a light car (50's)

it actually hydroplaned a couple times when it rained
