What autos do you see on the road and you say to yourself, man, that is nice! And the flip side to the coin, what autos do you see and just shake your head, they couldn't pay me to drive that thing!

nice:

Chevy Cruze. I could add the Malibu easily. Very nice looking cars.

shake your head:

Dodge Caliber. What were the thinking?

It takes a lot for a car to grab my attention these days. I probably see 10+ Malibu's or Cruze's in a day... but I don't remember any of them, they are just too plain among a sea of sedans on the road.

I don't notice any trucks (they are everywhere in TX, after you've seen a million of them they all blend together.) SUV's are almost the same thing, but I do notice the "sport" SUV's.

The last car that really turned my head was in 1970........I lost interest in newer ones after that and can't tell one from the other any more.

I'm impressed with improvements in Cadillac and Buick styling.

Do not understand why the Lexus alien face front styling.

i look for potential in cars, to that end a lot of cars dont impress me enough to bother with, unless i am looking at them for a sleeper. for instance most people look at a 78-83 fairmont and a pedestrian vehicle not worth much, but i see a fox body mustang with all its attendant capabilities, in a mundane sedan.

Nice: Tesla S
terrible: Nissan Juke. One bug-eyed ugliness. Followed close by KIA Soul.
