Is this a friend or acquaintance of yours? Hopefully not that close, but even if so, I'd just tell them that you think you both got a fair deal, and it is done. Not anything they can do legally, as they agreed to the price, but hopefully they don't have a copy of the key or decide to do something like was said.
Is this even heard of? Suppose you buy a vehicle for $X, finalize the deal, pay the cash, take delivery of the vehicle and the title is transferred. Then the seller comes back 3 days later and says he sold it too cheap and wants a few hundred $ more. Either that or rollback the deal. Apparently he got "advised" what he could have got more. How would you react in such a situation IF you do know that the vehicle was indeed worth more and you scored a bargain?
tell the seller to get bent, he got what he wanted for the car at the time, and if he doesnt like it, tough nuts, go pound sand. if he presses the issue, then tell him to sue you, remind him though that if he does, you will counter sue him for malicious prosecution, and harassment, and the amount will be 100 times what he wants in his original suit, plus attorneys fees. that should shut him up.

Tell him that if he comes near your vehicle you will have him arrested for attempted theft. If he tries to take it he is committing a felony. Seriously, what a whack job. The car is yours now, nothing he can do but cry about it.
Being "in the business," I've often had this sort of thing happen. We'll give somebody an estimate on repairs, they'll decide the car isn't worth it, and dump the car. If it's the right car for the right price, I might buy it from them. I've always been more than fair in the price I've paid.
After I've done the required repairs at my expense, I'll put the car up for sale.
Every once in a great while I've had a doofus former owner say, "Geez, you're sure making a lot of money off me!" to which I offer to sell him back his car for the price I paid, plus the price of the repairs done. I've yet to have anybody buy the car back.
I'm always more than fair with people, but I'm not in business to lose money. If somebody doesn't like it, they can take a hike - permanently.

That's absolutely crazy!!! Sure, fix it up and sell it for what you paid for it as public service..... smh.
I'd tell him I'll sell it back to him for twice what I paid, cash-only deal. And he has 4 hours to come up with the cash. That'll get rid of him!
