Hi,

I am actually looking for a SUV which has crossed just 100K miles, but not very sure about who is more reliable and requires less maintenance.
The models which I have in mind are - Honda-CRV, Toyota-RAV4 and Nissan-Rogue (All are 2008/2007 Model). Can someone please help me in deciding the right model and also what are the check list to be looked for when we are buying over 100K miles..

Thank you in advance!

Get the one with the records of regular maintenance done.

I had 2 Rav4's in the past with no reliability issues.
While far from an exciting SUV, it still better IMO than the other 2, especially with a V6.

Don't look at used cars based on brand.

The other half of that is to buy used vehicles based on their Condition.

The "best" vehicle in the world can be ragged out and total junk by 50k miles, and the "worst" vehicle in the world can be lovingly maintained and have 300,000 trouble-free miles. It's all in the care given to the vehicle. Pay for a pre-purchase inspection on ANY used vehicle you're interested in, and pay an INDEPENDENT mechanic, not a dealership, for that PPI.

Best advice yet.

Too many other factors involved.

Where were they made?
One made in Japan is likely to be more reliable.

I would avoid 2007 (maybe 2008 too) Toyota Rav4 I4 (2AZ-FE, same engine as the Camry) because of excessive engine oil consumption. I am not sure about CRV or Rogue.
