Locally I see bikers ignoring traffic law including stop sign; lanes; even traffic direction; you name it. So I don't think its any thing but mutual.

They are a pain where I live. They ignore the rules of the road routinely.

Quite often I see 3 cyclists riding abreast and they don't move into a single file lane (which is the law) when a car is trying to get by without swerving into the entire opposite lane of traffic.
Really rude.

In California they routinely get rubbed out on those winding roads. I don't know how they can bike without fear there.

Good, maybe it will cut down on the amount of idiot bike riders on the road, who totally disrespect all traffic laws.

I heard in Europe you're more respected as a cyclist. I ride in San Francisco and it's not too bad if you're in the right parts.

Around here the cyclist seem to be pretty well connected politically and they manipulate that to their advantage . They run stop signs and cut in and out of traffic at will . When one of them gets creamed you would think they were some kind of celebrity or something . Roadside memorials and newspaper articles , etc.

Umm, no I didn't have to look it up. Can I just refer to bicycle riders as TwoWheelDickHeads?
