What old cars appeal to you enough to want to own one? Stock, not modified or customized. Surely, the technology is obsolete, so I make my choices on style.
Here's some of my choices...
1953 Buick Roadmaster-nice grill, bumper, headlight treatment.
1956 Oldsmobile Holiday 88 Coupe-looks great in the two tone red and white, also appealling front and smooth lines all the way to the taillights.
1958 Chevy- somewhat boxy, but well integrated design all around.
1949 Lincoln-recessed headlights, nice grill.
What are your favorites?

1936 Ford Turtleback. I've always liked the style for some reason.

I'd love to have my first car back... a 1967 Mustang sedan... red on red... used to wash it every morning before going anywhere.

Where are you, Red?

Somehow I missed the huge pic of the Cobra (I've booked the opticians appointment for tomorrow ) so I forgot to put that on my list. I'd have a custom grill put on though. Nothing fancy or anything, just something to cover up the hole because it looks weird imo.

it'd be kind of cool to have a ferrari 250 LM in the garage, though a car like that would likely remain a garage queen...
