DALLAS — Dallas police say a man shot and killed a 15-year-old after both brandished guns.

Police say they'll refer the death of Frank Vega to a grand jury.

Investigators say 30-year-old Anthony Gray told them he was going home early Friday morning when a teenager in a Cadillac cut him off in the roadway, leading to an argument. Gray says both men pulled out guns.

That is incomplete information and no opinion can be formed.

My own made up scenario:
Did the 15 year old (who was probably a gangbanger) pull out the gun 1st (someone did) it unlikely the older person did and was in fear of his life, drew and shot = justified. There is more to this story than what's printed.

I agree with chick, who pulled the gun first is all relative and so far this information is missing. If the older guy was genuinly fearing for his life then I think the shooting was justified. Until we're presented with that kind of information, we can't form a judgement though.

HMMMMMM....It seems that FOX-News omitted a few things, not surprising. Heres a link to a FULL story from the Dallas Morning News.

We're missing a pretty obvious question here: What the hell is a 15-year-old kid doing driving around "early in the morning," or any time for that matter, and with a gun no less? Putting those three factors together tends toward an inference that he was no little cherub.

Yep. Heard this story here in Dallas the morning after it happened. At first I was stunned till more facts came out. A 15 year old, Caddie, 3:45 am, a gun. Not a lil angel there by no means. His momma and daddy didn't know he was out? Driving? With a gun? At 3:45am? They should be slapped and thrown in jail. The other guy was on his way home from work. If he drives late at night thru some bad areas then I don't mind if he packs some heat. Fine by me. On this night it was a good thing he did or else the lil punk would have killed him and probably gotten away with it.

Sounds like the 15 year old messed around with the wrong person. If you pull out a gun, someone else just may pull out theirs and do some shooting.
