YES.....I don't know how many times I've heard people say "I'm never buying GM again" because the car broke out of their own neglect.

We live in a day and age where you're never at fault but the other guy is.

I ALWAYS ask about the battery when I buy a used car! Once, when buying from a private party, I asked about it, and they instantly dropped the price by $300, so I could buy a new one. A L W A Y S check the battery in used car!


Some people will do anything to deflect the blame from themselves, though.

I've heard worse. Working at a dealership in parts/service you hear some pretty outrageous things. I could go on all day.

A $300 dollar battery?????

I have been looking online at car reviews, and people were crying a river about having to replace the breaks every couple of years and stupid stuff like that. I even saw a guy write a bad review about the Lincoln LS complaining about his turbo going bad...the Lincoln LS never came with a turbo.

Kinda like someone buying a 20 year old vehicle and having lots of problems and blaming the manufacturer.
