@AK76 - Excellent link! that alone helped a ton! Thanks - and ...the hazard switch is made into the turn signal switch. I did not replace the hazard flasher but did a continuity test and it passed....I'm sure its the switch now...

Be carefull relying on continuity, it can be very deceiving! A wire can show 0 ohms resistance but be unable to carry the load required to supply a circuit, all it takes is one strand in a 14ga. braided wire to be intact to satisfy an ohm reading, or all strands broken but touching until the wire is flexed to create a gap in circuit. Temperature, or postion, or the alignment of the stars can affect continuity, I always try to flex, pull, tap find some way to influence the wires/component in some way that would expose a fray or loose connection, or internal weakness when testing the integrity of a circuit or component.

Yes, the hazard/turn signal switch should be 1 component that is basically a "disk" which sits behind the steering wheel underneath the horn.
At least thatis how I remember them, it has been several years since I worked on a 95 S10, but I replaced MANY GM signal switches/been into the steering columns numerous times over the years.

Arrow Almost the same exact problem on my!995 S10

No turn signals,
1 replaced the relay for turn signals, still nothing
2,checked fuses, bad one, replaced, took off and as soon as i used it blew
3 take to shop, they tell me to get switch
4 get switch put it in, nothing
5 a freind messed with it some wires it was a little messy he said (previous owner who knows what they did)he had em working for a minute
as soon as i take offf and use signals nothing no signals again
6 This is where i am right now
I have hazzards
When i signal left it puts my left brake light out
when i signal right it puts my right brake light out

I am trying to do this on my own, before i pay the auto electronic speciality folks.

The passenger side indicator light (in the instrument cluster) is the only light that I cant get to come on - but I cant prove that that means it is out... I have looked all over the web and cant find a single link to help me diagnose this thing. Is there anyone out there that has any experience with this issue or knows someone that has had an experience like this that can help me out? PLEASE????? Thanks in advance for anyone with anyhelp :-)
In most cases of a light truck - clearly not yours - the turn signal PEBSAS.
