Good, let them pump money back into the economy. Perfect timing too as that nation has passed its industrial peak and is now on its fall... ironically due to better quality of life for their lower class. Keep spending, chinese! Then return to your wasteland.

You tend to drive faster and think high of yourself in a nice car.

A Chinese student facing charges in the United States over a fatal car accident was released from custody after his family paid US$2 million (HK$15.51 million) bail, according to reports.

Xu Yichun, 19, allegedly drove his Mercedes-Benz at high speed in residential areas of Des Moines before crashing into another car on November 10 last year. The driver of the car later died in hospital and three other passengers in it were injured, according to US reports.

There is more to this story. I was told by a Chinese student last week that she would be given a thousand dollars if she would purchase a new car for someone. The car was to be exported to China by someone who made three thousand on every car he sent there, and apparently he moves a hundred cars a year. I don't know all the details but that explains why Chinese students are buying expensive cars and paying cash for them. These must be in high demand in China.

I doubt there is any correlation. If anything, someone driving a beater cares less about their car and is more likely to abuse it.

I don't think it is common but it could happen.
In China luxury cars are very expensive so it makes sense to buy them in the US. However, I don't know how they can avoid the tariff, because each person can only have one car exempted.

So Americans buy Chinese goods making them richer and they, in turn, buy US education and spend money here on luxury cars? Hakuna Mutata!!

You do?
I'm careful to not get my shiny new car dinged and it's not even a luxury car.

This reminds me of the famous Vancouver supercar street racing bust from 2011. All Chinese students driving very expensive cars. Most of us like minded Yanks would love to come across a bunch like that here.

They can thank Wall-Mart for buying all their junk and making their families rich.

Don't get too excited about because the Chinese have come out several trillion dollars ahead of us.
