relax, if we didnt make mistakes from time to time, we wouldnt learn anything, and we would provide some comedy relief for internet forums either. its frustrating i know, but it will get sorted out, and the next time you go, you will be rather anal about triple checking everything, and provide some more comedy relief for the DMV employees.

Next time I step foot in the office of motor vehicles, I will become my father, who is the king of lists, double-checking, triple-checking, cross-checking, scanning, verifying, verifying via third party and finally trusting something only to check it again. (This is because he can't remember things so well these days, hah)
When I walk out of there, I will have made the clerks wait on me longer than I waited on them.
