Just curious if anyone has ever tried the E3 spark plugs in there vehicle. I bought one for my lawn mower and it seemed to start a little bit better, and have a better idle. Just curious if anyone has actually tried it in there vehicle and notice a fuel economy difference?
I tried them in my '88 Pickup.
The truck ran fine before the E3 plugs, but then afterwards, they ran like crap. I went and got some NGKs. It ran fine again.
The E3s are collecting dust somewhere in my house.
Spark plugs are one of those products where manufacturers make outlandish claims regarding what their plugs can do with some pretty hokey data backing them up.
If you bought an E3 spark plug for your lawn mower and it seems like it starts better and has a better idle, that only means that your old plug was overdue for replacement.
Yeah that is true about the lawn mower spark plug, the old one was worn out pretty good, so I am sure any spark plug would have same like night and day. I seen a few reviews on amazon and it seems that some people the spark plug helped improve fuel economy. While others said they had a problem with a misfire after the new install.
Great for lawnmowers crappy for cars.
