Pretty cool. They had an amphicar in the 1960s as well that could go on land and water. Those are getting collectible

I'm actually shocked as they haven't been sued by Jeep for being a body style knock off.

For $135,000, you can readily buy a better car and a better boat. This appears a cute novelty for spoiled 20 somethings with rich parents.

this car looks like the only normal looking car of its type but clearly they havent had any success mass producing them. i saw online that they appear to be trying to sell their company. its a shame since i really want one.

It is typical amphibious car. Bad car/bad boat. Still it is an improvement over most past attempts. If you do not need to go over 55 mph on land and only boat in calm days, it is a neat idea. they also make an equally impractical Amphibious motor-home. I think it runs around $2 million though. However I did look into this as a Toad just for fun. You would have to tow it on a trailer or Dolly. However given the price, you would probably want an enclosed trailer anyway. .

Sporks never work. The only spork that works is hybrid cars. And not for long. You either get a good boat, or a good car. combos - sporks - don't work. Unless, indeed, you have no respect to money and nothing else to spend them on.

Actually they might be worth something in 50 or 60 years.

Look at a list of what the late 50's and early 60's car/boats are listed for now:
