Hi, wondering if anyone has had a similar issue going on with this vehicle. The doors will intermittently not lock or unlock, mainly unlocking is the problem, when using the door buttons. Using the key fob seems to be fine. I wonder if it's an electrical issue or maybe something as simple as a fuse. Thanks in advance.

Either a bad relay or an auto lock/unlock module.

Door buttons get dirty contacts. I would try replacing that first.

Beyond that, you need factory electrical diagrams and electrical troubleshooting knowledge - multimeter.

Start with the switch in the door. Crud and water get in them all the time.

I am having the same problem with my 2008 Kia Spectra EX, but it includes not unlocking with the fob. Also I have noticed lately that sometimes my windshield wipers stop working or a few minutes when I really need them and have to turn them on high to get them to work at all and then go back to the lower settings. Additionally, this morning, front passenger side window would not go down. I had to play with all of the other windows in order to get that window to go down. Any ideas what the problem could be? If it is electrical, what needs to be fixed? I have had my fuses checked
