I am now praying that it gives me 50k more. I hope that's not too much to ask of it.

Stats:
Honda Accord, V6 engine
Re-manufactured transmission
No other major problems.

Are you all still driving a car with 200k+ miles? How many more miles do you think it can go before it clunks out?

Just keep changin dam oil and ATF.
Not even sure why you so excited. They run and run. We had several cars that ran well close to 300 000 miles, before they pooped for whatever reasons.

I've had it done in the past. Didn't consider needing it done again, but thanks for the heads up.

Keep doing the schedule maintenance and you'll see a lot more miles.

Interestingly enough, Honda doesn't have scheduled maintenance for cars over 125k miles. I wonder why, but I know I will have to keep it maintained.

They don't print it further because you can easily identify the maintenance patterns. Each type of service happens at specific intervals. You just keep going on those intervals.

Traditionally once a car reaches that point people tend to consider it in bonus territory and don't follow maintenance schedules very closely after that. You can make your own by extrapolating the original intervals; 80K service will need to be repeated at 160K and 240K, 100K service at 200K, etc.

Our Caravan is at about 210K with no major issues. My brother-in-law finally had to put a transmission in my old Concorde at about 250K. The car I primarily drive is a 1989 Caprice with just 131K; I'd like to push it to 200K just because it's a rare milestone for a RWD vehicle of that era, but it's a nice enough car that I'm thinking about getting something different as a commuter and saving it as a "Sunday driver" which will greatly reduce the number of miles I put on it.
