That is not fair to car owners. I would just make the price of gas expensive, and thus force people to get hybrid type cares. You can also convert a car to hydrogen, water, and electric.
Basically also you would rive the auto manufacturers/ dealers out of business. No one including them could sell their cars on market. Stupid idea ;plain and simple.
our politicians,, have set their own trap,,but also getting greased by big oil
here is the issue- all the states, and federal government depend on the taxes of every gallon of gas sold- if this windfall dried up,, they would have to double taxes on everything for revenues..
Hybrid vehicles don't do very well in the mountains where I live. I frequently zoom past a Prius buzzing up the mountain going 40MPH while I get to go 55MPH in my little Honda Fit. Yeah it's not a hybrid but I'm still getting great MPG. Plus I don't feel like less of a man driving my Honda. If I had to drive a Prius I would feel quite....*****?
I wonder if those who drive electric cars ever figure out that the electricity that they charge the car with usually comes from fossil fuel? If the govt. should legislate hybrid cars, why can't they just legislate everyone only drives a moped, or a bicycle. Some would be in favor of that. Why shouldn't the govt. legislate mandatory exercise class and whip all you people into shape.
new tech is always tested and sorted out on the track first. It certainly makes for improved street cars. Been that way since the first hybrid made by Porsche in 1901.
Your link. is that representative?? Racing WFO on public streets endangering the public. Another BFD to you I guess. Only an ass hole thinks thats OK.
My example is 100% correct. Yours is just being a douche. A very dangerous douche.
