I also live in Md and have been a tech at a Dodge dealer the last 24 years. If your selling the car and the brakes feel fine dont waste your money on a brake flush. Most shops sell that as a fast buck. Heck most cars go through their life and never change the brake fluid but I dont agree with that but as long as your brakes feel good and the fluid looks ok then dont waste your money on it. The $265 for the front brakes is not bad if they are doing the front brakes and turning the rotors and replacing the pads. And if rear drive they should repack the front wheel bearings and replace the seals. Most shops in Md charge about $75 to $120 per hr for labor depending on if its a small shop or large dealer. The 4 wheel alignment is not to bad but a bit high. Thats about 1 hrs labor which is what they usually give us techs for an average 4 wheel align but most shops also give a slight dicount on the hr labor on alignments as they normally run from about $69.99 to about $100 dollars. All in all dont waste the money on the flush and shop around and see how much other shops will cherge for the brakes and alignment. Good luck , Ron
Did the front pads and rotors on my 2010 corolla for $70.00 in my driveway...... Youtube is a great resource for figuring out how to do most things yourself. A 15 minute video on changing brakes could save you huge.
Job took me about an hour.
