Sometimes Dealers throw aftermarket Rims and tires on as well plus you could always trade those rims and tires in for stock rims and a new set of LT tires if you wanted.
I mean if it has been sitting on the lot for a few months then use it to lowball them and see if the dealer is willing to let it go just to get it off their lot OP.
I'm going to use the truck mainly to pull a 5th wheel camper so I don't need tires and rims to make it look great.
you could always ask the dealer if they can swap the rims and tires off the truck for stock ones off another of another similar year/model Truck.
Also could check out Tirerack if they have any deals on Rim/Tire combos you like and try to see if the dealer will knock some off the MSRP or something.
CPO 2-3 year-old HD diesel trucks in the $30K-$35k price range are quite plentiful and easy to find... So if the rims and tires put you off there are alot of 2500HD Silverado's around in that price range as well as Ford F250 Super Duties and Cummins Diesel Ram 2500's
Actually under Mechanical specs of the ad says it is a Gasser 6.0 Vortec V-8...Looks like the dealer made a mistake putting it as a 6.6 in the ad so it is not a diesel Op.
Engine, Vortec 6.0L Variable Valve Timing V8 SFI E85-compatible, FlexFuel capable of running on unleaded or up to 85% ethanol (360 hp [268.4 kW] @ 5400 rpm, 380 lb-ft of torque [513.0 N-m] @ 4200 rpm) with (E63) fleetside pickup box; (322 hp [240.1 kW] @ 4400 rpm, 380 lb-ft of torque [513.0 N-m] @ 4200 rpm) with (ZW9) pickup box delete (Does not include E85 capability with (ZW9) pickup box delete.)
Nice looking truck. It has a lot of miles for a year old vehicle but I doubt that's the problem. Sometimes, if a big ticket item happens to stay on the market for a bit longer than people think it should, everyone shies away from it. I wouldn't want the wheels in a 4x4 that I planned to use but it could be a decent deal for a street truck. It appears to be a certified used vehicle.
I'm going to use the truck mainly to pull a 5th wheel camper so I don't need tires and rims to make it look great.
If you're going to pull a 5th wheel it needs to be diesel. If it's a Duramax that seems to be a good price.
