Nitro!

Or a sledgehammer.

But I generally just drill them out and replace them with a nut, bolt, washer and lock washer.

Spray with liquid wrench or PB Blaster.

Next morning try again. 9 out of 10 gets you that bolt will be loose.

Heat or time, your choice.
LW and waiting til the next day did the trick

Best Penetrating Oil Test, surprise winner - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums

Quote: Machinist's Workshop Mag (tm)recently published some information on various penetrating oils that I found very interesting. Some of you might appreciate this. the magazine reports they tested penetrants for break out torque on rusted nuts.
They are below, as forwarded by an ex-student and professional machinist.

They arranged a subjective test of all the popular penetrants
with the control being the torque required to remove the nut from
a "scientifically rusted" environment.

*Penetrating oil .......... Average load*
None ........................... 516 pounds
WD-40 ..................... ... 238 pounds
PB Blaster .................... 214 pounds
Liquid Wrench ............... 127 pounds
Kano Kroil .................... 106 pounds
ATF-Acetone mix...............53 pounds

The ATF-Acetone mix was a "home brew" mix of 50 - 50 automatic
transmission fluid and acetone. Note the "home brew" was better
than any commercial product in this one particular test.

Our local machinist group mixed up a batch and we all now use
it with equally good results.

Note also that "Liquid Wrench" is almost as good as "Kroil" for
about 20% of the price.

PB Blaster is the stuff my husband uses.

We used to have a '73 Jeep Wagoneer, looked just like this one:

Used lots of PB Blaster on it.

^^^ Awesome. I want.

I'd also like a Jeep J-10. There is one that's been sitting on a flat near my place next to a garage for years, but the guys son won't part with it.

^^ ha...I just googled that picture to put here, and I'm looking at the URL. Apparently it's from my own picture folder here LMAO!

I had to use to it often, the stock studs on my exhaust manifold would snap so I didn't have any way to get them out. Double nut, and they were off in seconds!

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned hitting it with a hammer. The shock from hitting the bolt head or nut with a hammer is often enough to break the rust loose. Of course, penetrating oil and the blue wrench is also good advise.

Heat and candle (wax) applied to the root of the thread works well too (Where you can use heat)

Smacking the end of the bolt is a good idea too.
