A lot of drivers don't pass when they should. On a 2 lane road, they will sometimes tailgate for 20 miles. Some of them, even if you slow down to encourage them to pass, will just slow down with you and keep tailgating. As if there were a document taped to the rear of your car, and they were reading it. The only possible reason I can think of is that maybe they used to pass too often, with too much risk, and made a New Year's resolution to never pass again. But they should take into account that tailgating is even riskier than frequent passing. If they really aren't going to pass, they should back off and follow from a distance.

Left lane hogs. Far too many idiots drive in the left lane and "pace" cars in the right lane for miles. While holding up a long line of competant drivers. Keep right except to pass...is that really such a difficult concept that even the mentally deficient can't grasp it?

Bad and/or crazy drivers are literally at an epidemic level where I live. I've racked my brain trying to pinpoint one or two standout problems, but I'm unable to because so many things occur with such high frequency here. Even worse is that, due to the abundance of poverty and lower average intelligence within the county, there are actually people who try to set up conditions that may allow them to file a lawsuit.

People who stop way before the line or slow down significantly way before they need to.
Anyone who doesn't signal before changing lanes
After we've reached a red light, you take your foot off the brake and inch up for NO DAMN REASON!

I could go on...

Is there a reason for that specific size?

Large enough to do damage, small enough to be easily concealable. I don't go anywhere without a pocketful of 3/4 inch bolts.

People who constantly ride their brakes on the Interstate. Apparently they forgot that portion in Driver's Ed that discusses throttle management.

People who want to make right turns and slow down then take another 5 minutes to actually complete the turn and get out of the way. Same people typically have to move way left into your lane to turn right.

Driving in the passing lane, going 20 miles under the limit, because you are going to make a left hand turn 8 miles down the road. It appears to be an old person trait, as they are afraid that they cannot merge, so they just sit and poop along.

I am an old person too, but it drives me bat sheet nuts.

Panic brakers. for the love of god, you're in rush hour traffic on a crowded highway. do you have any idea what it does to the traffic behind you when you hit the brakes for now reason?! and not just lay off the gas and slightly tap the brakes, i'm talkin' a good press down.

causes a pretty wicked chain reaction behind them, and usually they're oblivious.
