Default Help, looking for door handle on my Toyota

I have a Dark Emerald Toyota Camry.....1995, looking online at all the auto part websites I can find the handle, just not in the color I need. Anyone have any idea where I can find this? The dealer wants $80.00 for just the outside plastic handle <<sigh>>

I would suggest trying a junkyard. I know there are tons of them in the L.A. area, particularly in Sun Valley, CA. I don't know what area you are in, but you should be able to find something in a nearby city. Check the phone book under auto dismantlers, auto salvage, or auto parts-used, and I think you should be able to locate somewhere to find this item.

Since I don't know where you are, I can't offer any suggestions other than what I've already written. If you show the location where you need to look, someone might be able to point you directly to a junkyard with what you need.

If you can't find the handle in the color you need one option may be to get the handle you found online, then head over to your local automotive parts store and get a can of spray paint to match your cars color. Dupli Color makes paints for many automotive finishes and it wouldn't be hard to paint your handle. They have small spray cans that only cost a few dollars. I would suggest visiting Dupli Colors website first and getting the code number for the paint that matches your car. It makes it that much easier when you go to the store. Good luck to you.
