I have a 2000 Mazda Protégé ES with 190,000 miles on it. Never done anything to it other then routine maintenance of it. The car loves the twisties and handles great. I have a five speed the cars are geared tight meaning that at 80 the engine is turning some 4,000 RPM. so keep it around 70 or under. the car isn't geared for the interstate. the car gets better mileage in the city & back roads. Other then that I'll drive mine to the wheels fall off. I'm betting the 2010's are like this.
