My car is driving rough they said I need a new carrier bearing for the front passenger cv axle? If that's replaced will the car stop driving rough? It's driving really rough I was thinking maybe engine problems? They checked the pressure of the tires and the tire rods and everything looks good so why is my car driving rough?

If a bearing is failing, it will cause vibration and roughness.

If a mechanic already said it's bad, why delay in replacing it?
