Here's a 1986 AMC Jeep CJ-7, the last year for AMC before Chrysler took over.

Although it is pushing 30 years of age, whatever you do, don't mention "extinct".

In college I had a MAJOR crush on a guy whose family owned one of those Cavalier station wagons. Early 90s. Wow, hadn't thought of that in a long long time.
When I was in High School (early 80's) my friend had a Honda Civic DL 5-speed Hatchback in the blue you wanted. His dad had bought it for him. He was coming out of a green 72 LTD. However, don't let rose colored glasses blind you. The second year it blew the head gasket. The front brake rotors were ALWAYS warped. And after year three, it started rusting out at the bottom of the hatch. In Texas! But other than that, it was reliable. I rode in it many times. At the time I had my 71 and a 74 Maverick (I still have the 71).

An original Dodge Powerwagon at a Mudfest this year. I am guessing those were built in the 42-46 era for military use. Still had the old style tires on it, and went thru the 100 foot long, 6+ ft deep mud hole too !

I saw a 1981 Delorean DMC-12 about six months ago. It was identical to the one from Back to the Future.

One car which used to be fairly common which I havn't seen in years is the Chevy Beretta. When I was in high school they were an older used car even then but you used to see lots of them, I alomost bought one for my first car for $600. I couldn't tell you the last time I saw one.

My first car was a chevy celebrity. You dont see many of those anymore either.

You're totally right! there used to be a ton of Berettas on the road. Haven't seen one in decades.

I grew up with my dad owning a used car lot in the 70s to this day that is still my favorite car we had on the lot.
There was a lot of really nice cars but I still like the TR6 best.

I never owned a beretta nad not too familiar with reliablity or track record or reputation but makes you think they must not have been great seeing how many their used to be and now not one to be found.
