Saw a Chevette the other day which really stood out to me. I could not believe someone still had one... and it worked! (It appeared to be in good shape too, a real survivor!)
There's a pizza company in my city that uses Chevettes, and nothing but Chevettes for their delivery cars.
Think about how many miles those damn things have on them!
My elderly neighbors have a 1958 Edsel Bermuda station wagon and a 1959 DeSoto sedan, either a Fireflite or a Firedome. I don't remember which. Both vehicles were purchased new and are very well maintained - and definitely not for sale!
I see all sorts of outrageous stuff out here in the Land That Rust Forgot, especially of the Japanese variety. Just in the past couple of months I saw examples of all of these running, none of them belching smoke or making unseemly noises:
