I saw six DeLoreans lined up in a parking lot a few weeks ago. Wish I would have gotten a picture.

I have recently seen both a Pinto and a Maverick. I am amazed that they are still on the road.

There's a pizza company in my city that uses Chevettes, and nothing but Chevettes for their delivery cars.

Think about how many miles those damn things have on them!

My elderly neighbors have a 1958 Edsel Bermuda station wagon and a 1959 DeSoto sedan, either a Fireflite or a Firedome. I don't remember which. Both vehicles were purchased new and are very well maintained - and definitely not for sale!

I see all sorts of outrageous stuff out here in the Land That Rust Forgot, especially of the Japanese variety. Just in the past couple of months I saw examples of all of these running, none of them belching smoke or making unseemly noises:

- Checker Marathon, clad in Bondo
- Mazda GLC
- Subaru Justy CVT
- Early '80s vintage Mitsubishi Montero
- Isuzu I-Mark
- Nissan Pulsar NX
- BMW 2002 turbo
- Datsun Fairlady roadster
