If you can get a 68 to 72 mustang, you have a classic.
They are beautiful cars. I do not normally like convertibles because of safety but I do love how the mustang convertible looks .

American cars, at 65%
So when an American car is totaled it may be less damaged then the foreign cars? What about the Japanese cars what percentage for them?

The Lexus SC 300 model uses the N/A 3.0 2JZ-GE I-6 which is same engine from the 1992-2002 N/A MK IV Supra

The 400s are spendy, but nice cars.
Does the 400 have a different motor then the 300?

We will do a buyers inspection, usually for about a hundred bucks.

Put the car on a rack, check for signs of damage, measure the frame, pull the tires, check brakes, compression test, computer diag. fluids, etc.

Another thing to watch for, popular with shady dealers, is they will get a sensor reading, but they can reset it, and it will not show up again until you put a couple hundred miles on the car.

Some of these sensors are expensive.

When you buy from owner, you can at least get the option to speak with the owners, sure they can lie, but you can make your own decision.

About the best thing going, and little known, is a used 4 door Audi.

They have no resale value, especially if they are diesel. nobody buys them for some reason, and you can get a really nice, luxury car, for relatively cheap.

Diesel cars have not caught on in America have they? My neighbor does prefer a private seller too but sometimes it doesnt work out that way and we all end up having to go to a dealer.
