Looks like an AUSCO (Auto Specialities Mfg. Co.). We made a **** ton of all sorts of jacks here in Windsor for decades.
Probably still works like a champ, too.

i believe you are correct .. it was at a local auction that i frequent weekly .. the seller represented it to be a " model A " bumper jack ... i guess he was both right and wrong .. it can be a model A bumper jack but it can be any other cars bumper jack as well ....

let`s step away from the rust for a moment .iv`e had a holy grail list of vehicles for 15 years that i have wanted to find .. numbers 1/2/3/4 i knew where they were i just needed the opportunity to get a shot of them ..number 3 and 4 were always garage kept ..number 5 and 6 i have not found yet ..(5) a one owner 69 dart swinger 340 4 speed with add on six pack i know it still exist ..(6) my first pro street V8 pinto i built in the late 70`s.. i know the area it was last seen .. i found # 4 today .. the same fellow who owned # 3 owned it .. less than 30 thousand miles on the speedo .. all original .. the fellow that now owns the 65 galixie now has the truck ..inside looks like it has never been sat in ..

A 1967 Rambler Marlin, one of less than 3,000 built in the final model year. I tried my very best to find a home somewhere, anywhere, for this nearly complete vehicle. Not a single taker. One day we needed one more to make the crush quota and out I went to get her.
Another complete vehicle that had the misfortune of being around too long....gone.
Opel, a set of three that had a happier ending, We found homes for all to one buyer who had plans to make one solid one out of the trio.
