it`s a 69 428 CJ .. I know this car very well also .. I remember it out running a BOSS429 in Huntsville once .. I have a picture of the BOSS I will post later .. it is quite a famous car ..you would not believe the car stories involving Shelby cobra`s and original GT40s that circulate in north Alabama due to so much NASA money being around in the mid to late sixties and early 70`s .. I will relate some stories later ..thanks for your picture .. all those two door hardtop bodies ...

My dad's chevelle, was in his will to give to me but he sold it to my uncle because he needed a car. Uncle paid less than $400 for it in good running condition (new vinyl hardtop at the time, new wheels/tires, strong running 396) and almost immediately parked it for nature to take it over. My cousins (not his kids, his sister's kids) decided to break most of the glass and lenses out and steal some parts like the trans to sell for drug money. Now it sits behind my uncle's house, dilapidated and begging for mercy. I have tried buying it back from him for 10x what he paid my dad back in the day, but he won't, he says he's going to build it one day. Fat chance... kicker is we still have the title but my mother insists that it would cause too much family drama to up and take it one day.

this 55 ford was owned by the same lady that owns the 70 torino cobra in post # 1 .. it was her dads car .. she let me buy it but i found it to be too far gone for me to fix .. i gave it to a junkyard ..it was in some woods behind her house obscured from plain site ..been sitting since 1971 .. probably a decent car when parked ..
