Houston to Orlando...about 20 hours with some pet rest stops. That trip was about 2300 miles both ways with some doodling around Orlando mixed in.

I had to roadie to Gainesville for my final exam right before Thanksgiving. That was 15 hours there (850 miles) and 13 hours back.

Those were both in the SuperCrew

My older truck made a roundtripper to Tallahassee, veering off I-10 heading to Florida to run passed Eglin AFB on down to Destin and the surroundings. Load up the truck in Tally and get a three hour nap break then head right back home. About 1700 miles. Leave about 8:00pm on a Friday night, get back home at about 5:00am Sunday morning.

I'd probably have been concerned if I did something silly like name my trucks and thought they had feelings and would start to ache over that kind of usage.

From North Carolina to Las Vegas, Nevada. And back, of course! Well, my husband and I took turns driving. But we were in my car!!

In the same car, we took a trip from North Carolina to Denver, then Utah, then Vegas, then the Grand Canyon, back to Denver and then back to North Carolina. Actually, that was a longer trip.

I drove solo from Savannah, GA to Seattle, WA for my move in May 2011.

Left on a Tuesday morning and arrived on a Sunday afternoon which included an extended stop in SD to check out Mt. Rushmore and stuff.

Averaged 62 MPH for the trip... beautiful country out west.

I think I'll set a new low on this thread. I gotta do some driving to catch up with you guys.

Brooklyn to Raleigh, N.C. for about 490 miles. Close second was Fredericksburg, Va., to Columbus, Ohio. Maybe one day I'll go on an insane road trip just so I can come back to this thread and brag about it.

Longest one day trip by myself was Wilkes-Barre, PA to Anniston, Alabama, 12.5 hours.

Longest trip one day with my cousin was .... Start at the North rim of the Grand Canyon >> Las Vegas, >> through Death Valley >> and into the Sierra Nevada's around the Mammoth Lake area..... that was a long one because it was roundabout path instead of the most direct route. The only major road I-15 for a short time.

That would also include the longest multi day trip, about 3500 miles in 8 days, only 400 of it was on Interstate

In 1998 I drove by myself from Fort Stockton TX to Lompoc CA...about 1200 miles. Took me about 23 hours with stops for gas, meal and restroom breaks. I was on my way home from a cross-country drive that started in California--to NYC--back to California. For the last few hours I was exhausted and almost fell asleep behind the wheel in the California desert. Since then, I will never drive while that tired. It's worse than drunk driving.

This last summer drove from Denver to NC. Stayed there a week and drove up to DC and back home.

It wasn't direct. Ended up sleeping in Missouri both going and coming. But overall around 4,000 miles in two weeks. Fun time.
