I've read that because the used car market is so strong, that some used cars (1 or 2 years old) are priced not much below their new price or sometimes even as much as new, to where it makes no sense to buy it used. Is this true and if so, which models are they? Secondly, is the "sweet spot" for getting the best value on a used still 10 years with low mileage (like under 60k)? I can't seem to find very many Accords and Camry's in this sweet spot. Are those days gone? It seems like there are a plethora of high mileage (over 120k) under 10 year old Accords and Camry's (and I'm sure Fusions and Sonatas too) for sale. I wonder if they sell and if cars with over 100k miles are easier to sell than a decade ago.

They probably don't sell and if they do sell any its probably just to someone looking to buy a extra car for themselves or for a family member.
One things for sure I would not touch no used car that's almost the price of a new car with over 100k miles on it.
toyota tacomas, I have seen some with over 100k miles and they still want 30k for them
Yep. FJ Cruisers, too, though I wasn't impressed by the big blind spot and weird ergos on those when I took a close look in 2011.
Guy offered me .75 on the dollar cash money, not trade, for my Tacoma last summer. It's now at 98K miles but in v. good condition with full records. I was surprised...astounded actually.. and thought on it for about three seconds before saying: "no thanks." Nothing to replace it with other than an F150, in my case. Not seeing that upside, at-all.
There are few, if-any, factory sport pickup trucks available at the moment: bit of an anachronism, apparently. Steve Saleen had a hopped-up F150 about eight years ago that fit the bill, but wanted $60K new for it too. Nuh uh.
Neither Tacomas nor FJ Cruisers were/are terribly expensive to begin with, prices being 20s-30s K I believe.
The dealer where I bought my 2014 F150 last year has a comparable used one listed right now for more than I paid new.
