The 22RE built by Toyota is one of the best engines ever produced.

Yes! The mechanics at my garage told me that if I bought a new Acura, it wouldn't be made as well as mine was. Plus they all require premium grade fuel now, while mine does not. I don't want to pay $.30 or more a gallon extra.

2 years ago I sold my 1991 Audi 200 20v Quattro. It had 225k miles on it and though it was one of the last of 1500 cars ever produced it was only worth about $2k. I loved that car dearly, but it got to the point where I wanted a new motorcycle more than fixing it every other week so I found a young man who had big plans for her. I still miss that car and now I'm not so hot for my motorcycle.

Why replace anything that works well?
Cars, appliances, clothes...?
Only reason I got rid of my cell phone is that it started crashing.

Those '91 200 20v's are very rare. Even rarer in Avant form. I would be kicking myself.

I keep my high mileage (195,000+) truck because it is reliable, it is paid for, it is set up to tow behind my motorhome, and I can't think of any reason to buy a new or newer one.
