If you think you can get 20% off on the Civic..... yeah, good luck with that. LOL

Mazda 3. The others are just appliances, the 3 has some personality.

Our local Hyundai dealers are offering brand new 2015 Sonata SE sedans for $17,986. May be worth the drive to get one.

I was thinking about a 2015 corolla or civic, but I'm not sure. I'd love something new, but for 18k I could get a couple year old Acura tsx, which is a lot nicer of a car than either a Civic or corolla. I have next to zero mechanical aptitude, which is why I am thinking about a new economy car like the corolla and civic. The other cars in their class don't do much for me.

Can anyone give me their feedback? If anyone has a 2015 corolla or civic that would be even better.

I like Hondas. Civic is a great car. So is the Corolla.

Best value (IMHO): buy it new, enjoy the new car smell, maintain it well, keep it clean, drive it until you have 200k+ miles.

Are you buying the manual or the automatic and which engine is the reliable one?

I got the manual. The auto has some pretty mixed reviews, so I just avoided the issue and went with the tried-and-true 5spd they've been using since the mid90s.
The engine is just whatever is standard in the SE/SEL. I'd have to look it up...

Thank you. And yours now has a direct injection engine?

2015 Hyundai Sonata if your area is running sales like ours is. They have new ones for $17,986 for a base SE. Not sure if that is a cash out the door price though.

Cripes, why do they have to tell such an obvious lie?
